Dr. Suresh R. Chandra


After holding many faculty positions at the University of Wisconsin's Department of Opthalmology, Dr. Suresh Chandra currently serves as the Director of the Division of International Ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Madison, WI.
He is also the Founder and Chairman of Combat Blindness International (http://www.combatblindness.org/who-we-are/).
Dr. Chandra is internationally renowned for his outstanding contributions and dedication to the elimination of blindness on a global scale.

Aseem Z. Ansari

Professor Aseem Ansari is the Chairman of WINStep Forward, Inc., and is a Professor of Biochemistry and Genomics at Univeristy of WI-Madison. He is also the founder and director of the Khorana and S.N. Bose Programs. Dr. Ansari has received several awards and honors with respect to the scientific discoveries that have come from his lab. The Khorana and S.N. Bose programs have received high acclaim from around the world.

Ellen Foley

Ellen Foley, an award-winning journalist and an accomplished digital media advisor, joined WPS as vice president of corporate communications in 2013. Ellen leads the communications and marketing efforts in addition to supervising corporate events, community relations, media relations and the company’s philanthropic efforts. She serves as vice president of the WPS Charitable Foundation Board.
In her tenure at WPS, Ellen has expanded the role of marketing and communications, particularly emphasizing the company's new efforts to create transparency in internal and external communications, and is now the company's senior vice president of corporate communications.Ellen specializes in complex and community-focused strategic work. Her efforts as editor-in-chief at the Wisconsin State Journal earned the journalists there many awards for online and print projects, including a Pulitzer Prize finalist honor in 2008.
As executive director of communications and community development at Madison Area Technical College, she led the successful effort to win a $134 million referendum in November 2010. In 1988, Ellen founded the Violence Against Women Coalition in Minneapolis-St. Paul after the tragic murder of her sister, Mary. The coalition successfully advocated for legislative change of the penalties for sexual predators.
Ellen volunteers as a director of the Forward Theater Board and the Morgridge Center for Public Service Board of Visitors at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.Prior to joining WPS, Ellen worked as the digital communications leader for Rippe Keane Marketing and president of Foley Media Group beginning in 2008. Her expertise as a social media and digital marketing executive is chronicled in the recently released book, “Social Works.” Ellen has held editing and reporting positions in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Milwaukee, Detroit, Minneapolis, Kansas City, and Philadelphia. She earned a master’s in journalism and a bachelor’s degree in political science, both at UW-Madison.

Jeffrey J. Bartzen

Jeff began practice as a lawyer in 1991 as Legal Counsel to Wisconsin Governor Tommy G. Thompson. Since 1993, he has been practicing in areas of business law, real estate, estate planning, tax, non-profit, entertainment and related litigation. Jeff’s practice is diverse, ranging from matters such as simple house closings to complicated mixed-use developments; simple business set-ups to mergers, to contracts, franchise law, tax issues and acquisitions and family business planning. He has had various published articles on the topics of small business start-up, choice of entities, and limited liabilitiy companies. Jeff also co-founded and helps run Mike Ditkas’ Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund for former NFL players in dire need.

Mark Krebsbach

Mark D. Krebsbach, CPA is a partner with Porter & Sack, CPAs, S.C. Mark provides business management and tax consulting services to small businesses and individuals in various industries including service, construction, retail, not-for-profit, and professional industries. Mark also manages financial statement preparation, income tax planning and QuickBooks’ set up and troubleshooting. He is a instructor with the Small Business Development Center-Madison and serves as a director on various not-for-profit boards in the community.

Eric Horn

Eric is an associate with WinStep Forward assisting to facilitate operations and future planning. Eric also serves as Senior Scientist and Executive Director of two other Madison, Wisconsin organizations.
